LTR Investments Utah, LLC keeps its whole book in the vault — 48 deposit boxes on four walls: own-account principal dealing, customized fee-paid advisory and fund management, trust and custody, and the market services that clear and move the paper.
Own-account investing, royalty and mortgage dealing, venture capital and viaticals — the bank's own book.
BOXES B-01 – B-09 WALL 2Fee-paid customized planning and advice, plus fund, trust, pension and portfolio management.
BOXES B-10 – B-25 WALL 3Estates, trust offices, non-RE escrow and fiduciary agencies, securities custody and trust administration.
BOXES B-26 – B-33 WALL 4Clearinghouses, lease and deposit brokers, protective committees, quotation and transfer services.
BOXES B-34 – B-48A safe-deposit box takes two keys — the bank's and the renter's. LTR Investments runs the same discipline on money: nothing moves on one signature. Principal positions are authorized by the house's own risk committee; client mandates move only on the written instructions and objectives in the mandate.
Wall 1 is the bank's own book — own-account speculation, mineral and oil royalties, mortgages, tax liens, venture and viatical interests, dealt as principal. Walls 2 and 3 are the client's side — fee-paid customized advice, managed funds, trusts, custody and fiduciary administration. Wall 4 is the machinery — clearing, brokering, protecting, quoting and transferring.
Before any transaction or mandate: principal or fiduciary, house book or client book — the capacity is in writing before the position exists.
Customized advisory means the client pays the fee — disclosed in the mandate, never embedded in a spread or product markup.
Positions, custodies, trust balances and transfers reconcile to statements. A number that can't be traced doesn't stay in the vault.
Bring the mandate, the deal or the question — the reply states plainly which wall it belongs on.
